Hours of Operation

The Centre is open from 7.15am to 6.00pm for 49 weeks of the year. Public Holidays, which the Centre close’s and will be publicised a week in advance.

Parents who require care at times of Centre closure should discuss their needs with the Coordinator who may refer them to other centres. Centre fees remain payable for Public Holidays.

Family involvement

Brunswick Crèche is a non-profit community-owned and community-operated childcare centre. We receive no government funding, relying solely on parent fees, fundraising, working bees and occasional grant programs to maintain and upgrade the centre.

To ensure that we can continue to keep our fees low and our facilities and care at the highest possible quality, we require each family at the crèche to volunteer some time to the crèche.

You can participate by:

  • Helping out at working bees
  • Assisting with a fundraising event
  • Staffing the bar or helping clean up after one of our social events
  • Joining the committee or the fundraising group
  • Volunteering to run an activity or assist in your child’s room
  • Using your own skills or talents to help the crèche.

We recognise that many of our parents have professional skills and expertise that they wish to offer the centre. If you have other ideas about how you can help the crèche, please speak to Angie, or come along to our first committee meeting
